Description Georgi Georgiev 2006-09-22 20:59:56 UTC
Currently, the net-print/hplip ebuild installs some libraries to /usr/lib/sane, but it ought to use /usr/$(get_libdir) instead.

The fix is trivial and here it is.
Comment 2 Stefan Schweizer (RETIRED) gentoo-dev 2006-09-23 00:55:00 UTC
thanks, I fixed this. But I left /usr/lib/menu and /usr/lib/cups because those do not contain executable stuff and thus I believe that they do not follow the libdir.

re: /usr/lib/cups
Are you refering to /usr/lib/cups which is being replaced with the output of "cups-config --serverbin"? If so, "fair enough" I'd say. After all that's what the Makefile contains and therefore, that's what has to be fixed in the sed.

re: /usr/lib/menu
What's the deal with /usr/lib/menu? I have no /usr/lib/menu on my system and I *do* have qt3 in the use flags.

$ emerge -pv hplip
[ebuild   R   ] net-print/hplip-1.6.9  USE="X foomaticdb ppds qt3 scanner -snmp"
$ q list hplip | grep menu
/usr/share/hplip/data/images/HPmenu.png
