Description:   Opened: 2006-09-21 08:51 0000
Version bump out:

4.2:

New features:
- The Parabolic Zoom mode has been considerably improved.
- A task that demands attention now has better blinking notification.

Bug fix:
- The dock now does not steal mouse/keyboard focus when being zoomed in
- Fixed other minor bugs.

Other changes:
- The popup menu of a task button has been removed, because while it is of
little use, it has problems with the parabolic zoom's animation.

Thanks

Hmm, seems like the ebuild needs to be modified (just bumping won't work).
There's two source trees now, one for automake-1.7 and another for 1.9. I put
_automake-1.9.tar.gz at the end of the SRC_URI and it worked, so it's just that
dependency for automake-1.9 I guess (or somehow downloading one package or the
other depending on the automake version.)

But, I can confirm ksmoothdock-4.2 working on gentoo amd64 (using automake-1.9)

In kde.eclass we have:
DEPEND=">=sys-devel/automake-1.7.0
..."

Looking into automake ebuilds, I found that automake-1.9.6-r2 is stable on
(almost ) all archs (the one is still marked with ~ is x86-fbsd).

I don't know the official policy for automake and kde, but as I checked
stabilization of automake' 1.9 serie started in January. Only kde serie that
left in portage is 3.5 and it hits portage in March.

If my voice counts (as a new member) I would say to choose _automake.1.9
version of file. Still - I'm new here :)

Cheers,
Przemek

sorry - to quick :)

Works for me on my x86. I will check it tommorow on my ppc machine.

Cheers,
Przemek

After all, kde.eclass now needs automake-1.9, so this version is going to be in
portage.

Fixed in CVS. Thx for bug.

Przemek
