I'm having having similar problem. My trouble is that emerge can't download libutempter-1.1.4-alt1.src.rpm from any repository. It tries from various places... ftp://ftp.ucsb.edu/pub/mirrors/linux/gentoo/distfiles/libutempter-1.1.4-alt1.src.rpm ftp://mirror.datapipe.net/gentoo/distfiles/libutempter-1.1.4-alt1.src.rpm ftp://ftp.altlinux.ru/pub/distributions/ALTLinux/Sisyphus/files/SRPMS/libutempter-1.1.4-alt1.src.rpm but the download failed. I'm using coLinux with "Gentoo-colinux-i686-2007-03-03" root file system. I was trying to install kde, and after this I cannot reboot system.
