I've been using this testing package on amd64 for sooooo looong (more than a
year) without problems. Perhaps it's now time to remove the "~" from it?

Ops...! Correction: the more than a year ago started with an older version.
Anyway I've been using the dosbox 0.65 for quite some time to play ancient
games without a single crash. Maybe it's time to make it stable?

Sure thing, marked ppc stable.  Did you forget to add AMD64 to the CC list?
