Bugzilla Bug 147384

Updating the dependencies from the full GNOME meta ebuild results in a
successful compilation of the 2.16 flavor GNOME base system.  I will test to
see if GNOME starts and runs normally in a few hours.

I am back at my desktop computer, and everything is working correctly.  There
have been no crashes after about 30 minutes of normal use.

When official gnome-light-2.16 be in portage?
