Description:   Opened: 2006-09-08 18:30 0000
When trying to emerge gnucap with gcc-4.1.1 it failed to build.
Looking at the debian package, it adds a patch to solve this problem.
I've tried it, and worked fine. I'm attaching it to this bug.

gnucap-0.34-gcc-4.1.patch

Patch from the debian package.

------- Comment #2 From Denis Dupeyron 2006-09-09 02:47:59 0000 -------
Lucas,

Thanks for the report. However 0.34 is rather old, and gnucap-20060708 builds
perfectly well with gcc-4.1.1 and it works great as far as I know.

So, please arches, stabilize gnucap-20060708.

Denis.

Stable on ppc

------- Comment #4 From Joshua Jackson 2006-09-10 17:43:53 0000 -------
x86 is stable as always.

------- Comment #5 From Gustavo Zacarias (RETIRED) 2006-09-12 06:11:12 0000 -------
I'll stable it once the 30 day period passes by - we have no previous stable
version and don't use gcc 4.1 yet either.

------- Comment #6 From Olivier Crete 2006-09-15 17:05:41 0000 -------
the optional dependency on sys-libs/libtermcap-compat is bogus.. that package
does not install what's required to compile anything against it and is
multilib-broken and portage tries to pull it when I try to build gnucap... So
in short, please remove it so I can mark the newer gnucap amd64 stable.

True. Thanks for seeing it.

Done, you can go ahead now.

Denis.
