gigabase versions below 3.44 have compilation problems with gcc-4*. From
CHANGES:

3. Fix compilation problems with GCC 4.0

So I think it's good idea to stabilize next available in portage version,
before marking gcc-4.1.x stable. Thank you.

To test I'd suggest do `ebuild gigabase-3.51.ebuild install` cd to
${WORDIR}/gigabase and to run some ./test* commands from there. Test commands
are not installed, but that is upstream's decision.

1) emerges fine
2) passses collision test
3) seems to work

emerges fine on amd64, rans testperf, testperf2, testspat, testdb and testblob
