Hello, A very small problem with the stellarium installation in a gnome environnement: stellarium.png is missing from /usr/share/pixmaps. As a consequence there is no icon in the gnome application menu. I have created such an icon (derived from the image displayed on the website www.stellarium.org). Where should I upload this icon to make it available to everyone ? My 2 cents. Fran

Created an attachment (id=141208) [details] ebuilds.diff With this modification the problem is fixed (and also menu entry is shown in "Education" instead of "Others" menu) Thanks for applying it :-)
.
No thanks. Installing the bmp files is not preferred. I will direct this upstream still.
(In reply to comment #8) > No thanks. Installing the bmp files is not preferred. I will direct this > upstream still. > I know, but upstream says that this should be done by downstream (=gentoo) Look at the comment in: http://sourceforge.net/tracker/index.php?func=detail&aid=1651932&group_id=48857&atid=454373 They think that bmp is good enough
Hmmmm, ok, I'll take another look at this.
