Description Dirk Heinrichs 2006-08-28 05:06:17 UTC
The summary has it all. This configure option enables nested groups. A use flag
would be nice.

Can you think of an objection against making this --enable-supergroups flag a default for the ebuild? If this configuration-flag incurs e.g. a considerable performance hit, then a use-flag would be useful. If not, then a use-flag could be just useless and dirty.

I don't know wether or not there is a performance penalty. I could ask on the openafs mailing list.

Up to now, I didn't receive an answer on the mailing list. So I'd say: Let's
try.

Introduced in 1.4.2fc3, please (re-)emerge that to try this.

Did a quick test, can add one group to another. Thanks a lot.
