Package does not compile at full speed on multiprocessor systems because of -j1 flag in the MAKEOPTS.
the flag is here for some reason, first probable one being that it may fail with parallel make. Look if there was some bugs filled about that, and if not, please do tests that shows that it is indeed unneeded. In another bug report, the reporter had a quad processor machine and made the package compile in a 'while' loop and counted failures with parallel make versus -j1 make.
Tested just with -j3, compiles without errors and works. Seems the issue from bug 14827 has been resolved in the source code.
I have removed the parallel building restriction from control-center-2.16.1. I'd appreciate some testing - I tried -j2 and -j (unlimited) myself without problems, but I only have one CPU with one core so might not hit some race conditions other systems might be more prone to hit.
Nothing has been reported so far, closing the bug.
