Description:   Opened: 2006-08-17 10:44 0000
If you feel ready to do so, please cc arches for the above version to get at
least x86 and amd64 ready for GCC 4.1 in the stable tree (will be included in
2006.1 release for both of them).

One open bug found (see depend), 30 days not through...

1.) emerges fine on x86
2.) passes collision-test
3.) seems to work (isql and firebird-daemon)

/etc/init.d/firebird start
 * Starting Firebird server ...
check $FIREBIRD/firebird.log file for errors
can not start server

                                       [ ok ]

The server is up, but that "can not start server" is displayed all the time -
but it works :)

this was a misconfiguration of my test-box. my hostname was defined on
127.0.0.1 in /etc/hosts and I changed it to my eth0 ip-address. now the message
is gone.

/etc/init.d/firebird restart
 * Stopping Firebird server ...
server shutdown completed

                                       [ ok ]
 * Starting Firebird server ...
server has been successfully started

sorry for the noise...
