There is currently no stable version in portage

hmm, i realize there is no compatibility between 1.1.* and 1.2.*.
But if i possible, i'd like to remove 1.1.* from the portage tree because it's
difficult to maintain two versions for me. Also, 1.2.* is much better than
1.1.* .

anymore..

There is still no stable version of slony.

nakano, you can remove old ebuilds whenever you want, all of the slony ebuilds
are marked "~amd64 ~ppc ~x86" so there's no reason to keep anything less than
1.2.9.

version bump to 1.2.12? this has been released on Nov 2007.

Tested it w/ existing 1.2.10 ebuild and just changed the versioning. 

Compiles and works.
