This ebuild does not check the running kernel version and keeps the version >=2.6 default of squid configure and enables the use of epoll() syscall which is not present in 2.4 kernels resulting in a broken squid binary.
Maybe the ebuild checks for the proper kernel version itself or a new use flag for explicitly enabling epoll() on 2.6 kernels should be introduced.
