Bug 142965 – Stabilisation request on db-4.2.52_p4-r2 (after new java is stable)

The old stable version is incompatible with the new java setup and does things the wrong way. Please mark this version stable as soon as appropriate. The core of this package has been rock solid for ages. Only the java stuff was changed on 25 July.

Too early... I cleaned my tree and looks like that nobody has the right version of java-config in stable yet...

Indeed, can't go stable until the new java system is stabled.

Jeroen. Those executables seem more odd than they are. They are just the normal ones with the architecture prepended. As db runs on many archs it is probably needed on some of them to do it this way.

Probably... Marked it hppa && HPPA done as java is use.masked for HPPA. Feel free to re-CC if you find this in error.

sparc stable even though we don't have anything java related any more.

Already stable on mips, nothing left.
