Description Wido Depping 2003-01-21 03:34:53 UTC
If I try to compile gconf on my 4 processor alpha box, the ebuild fails due to a compilation
error if I set MAKEOPTS="-j4". Setting MAKEOPTS="-j1" solves the problem.

added a possible fix to gconf-1.2.1 and gconf-2.2.0, could you please test one of those -after rsync ofcourse- to make sure it works ?
Comment 2 Wido Depping 2003-02-04 11:18:15 UTC
ok, re-emerged gconf-1.2.1 and everything went well. it seems, the bug can be closed
now.

.
Comment 4 Joseph Cheek 2005-02-22 18:34:31 UTC
with -j8 on x86, I get

make[2]: *** No rule to make target `../backends/libgconfbackend-oldxml.la', needed by `xml-test'. Stop.
make[2]: *** Waiting for unfinished jobs....

-j1 works fine. This is gconf 2.8.1 on x86.

Thanks!

Joe

not sure how to reactivate/change the status on this bug, it just shows "leave as resolved fixed".
