As noted by several users here http://forums.gentoo.org/viewtopic-t-101412.html
it would be very nice to:

1. Have mtd run at boot ( /etc/init.d/mtd? )
2. mkdir -p /var/lib/mythdvd/temp  at installation time so that mtd doesn't die
the first itme you run it

Really basic init.d script

This is just a chopped-down, changed mythbackend init.d script. I have no idea
if it is what should be used.
