As per summary... just an update, as ia64 marked that stable (that is strange
;) ) maybe you all want to follow, so to give a more complete choice to your
stable users, now that the time has passed.

I can't think of bugs you can find in fonts a part being incomplete, which
isn't something that can be solved by forcing an older version, so..

2.8 is due for next month unless another is released before of that :P

The COPYRIGHT error comes out of fonts eclass, can't do much about it here.

ppc already stable

dejavu-2.7 emerges fine on alpha and fonts render properly in Gimp.
