As per ref URL Andrew has made a significant number of quality contributions. It is my humble opinion that buerocratic efficiencies need to be made so Andrew can fix his own bugs. Andrew works as a systems administrator on a number of gentoo machines and I believe would make a great developer.
ebuild quiz submitted - July 15 2006 end quiz submitted - July 16 2006 Both reviewed and accepted by me. Mentoring continues well. Thanks Andrew for helping others on #gentoo-dev-help. Good to see the community spirit and your ebuild skills demonstrated while teaching others.
Daniel, it'd be great if you guys could submit the end and ebuild quiz to recruiters at whenever convenient and I'll get this out of the way since Andrew has waited for a while! Grab me if you have any questions. Thanks.
Christel, my ebuild quiz answers were sent to recruiters 5/7/06 9:03 AM GMT+10 - have just forwarded the original email to recruiters. Have just sent end of mentoring quiz to recruiters as well - sorry about the slip up on that one.
-core done. ldap done. IRC done (cloak, #-dev) cvs/svn done. bugzilla done. roll-call done. All done! woot. Welcome Andrew.
- Last (viewable) bugzilla activity: 166763: 2008-01-03 05:33:56 - Last CVS activity: 10:57 on Nov 07, 2007 I've sent Andrew the first mail today.
Andrew didn't set his .away. He isn't a member of any projects and his areas of responsibility field in roll-call is emtpy. He wasn't seen on Freenode for 17 weeks. He didn't respond to the first mail. I've sent the second mail today.
Andrew answered to my mail today saying he currently has no choice but to retire. He promised to continue contributing through bugzilla whenever possible and hopefully will rejoin the Gentoo team sometime in future. Infra, please process Andrew's retirement.
infra-processed now.
- Removed access from #gentoo-dev - Removed gentoo/developer cloak - Removed from herds.xml - Removed from project pages - Reassigned all remaining bugs
- metadata done
Nothing to do for forums.
Retired on planet. Retirement complete.
