------- Comment #4 From Jakub Moc 2006-07-09 00:34:03 0000 -------
Please, stabilize the fixed version.

------- Comment #5 From Joshua Jackson 2006-07-26 20:13:57 0000 -------
awaiting a reply from printing before I stablize this.

------- Comment #6 From Stefan Schweizer 2006-07-27 00:32:37 0000 -------
I would rather fix it instead of waiting for replies and leave it broken. That
is the problem with stable - it far too often defaults to the broken state as
can be seen in this bug.

------- Comment #7 From Joshua Jackson 2006-07-27 20:58:52 0000 -------
giving the herd some time to reply is not leaving something in a broken state
indefinitly. The herd would also know better then myself if there is a
outstanding issue with the version that maens it shouldn't go as well. We all
talk about communication and needing more of it..but when it comes down to
it..people want to do something that is convienent instead of taking the time
to actually find out correctly.

------- Comment #8 From Hal Engel 2006-08-12 12:04:45 0000 -------
Version 1.09 is a very old version (released in 2002). 1.11.3.1 has been in
portage since mid-April and should be marked as stable on x86, amd64 and ppc.
In addition 1.11.4.1 was released in early July and includes many bug fixes,
UI improvements, a hugely improved regression algorithm (this is now world
class and works better than most commerical software which cost $thousands) and
localization of the UI with translations to Russian, German, French and
Norwegian. You will find an ebuild for 1.11.4.1 in the file download area of
the lprof sourceforge web site. This sould be added to portage. In addition
expect 1.11.5 to be released sometime in August 2006.

------- Comment #9 From Stefan Schweizer 2006-08-12 12:57:40 0000 -------
thanks, I bumped the version to 1.11.4.1

------- Comment #10 From Andrej Kacian (RETIRED) 2006-09-09 17:40:36 0000 -------
lprof-1.11.3.1 needs >=media-libs/vigra-1.3.0, I've marked 1.3.2 stable along
with lprof.
