The current stable version does not build with Qt 3.3.5; please consider
marking stable a new version of skim so that it can actually build, and make
use of the improvements in latest ebuild, too.

Confirmation of compilation error of current stable 1.4.2 with QT 3.3.6 (there
is no 3.3.5 in the tree).

scim 1.4.4 needs to go stable first, skim 1.4.5 won't build with a version
below that (dependencies in skim must be adjusted, file separate bug?)

scim 1.4.4 and skim 1.4.5 together emerge fine.

Unset:  CTARGET, EMERGE_DEFAULT_OPTS, INSTALL_MASK, LDFLAGS,
PORTAGE_RSYNC_EXTRA_OPTS

as christian has said that 1.4.2 won't build with the current stable qt...and
it is required for skim 1.4.5. Until we can get what appears to be 1.4.4 in the
tree and stable, we can't do 1.4.5 stable either, as new installs won't be able
to do it. 

Please let us know when you have some solution for this problem.

The stated dependency in skim ebuild is fixed now, thanks Christian.
