Description:   Opened: 2006-06-28 18:52 0000
Requesting a verison bump on jdbc-mysql from 3.1.12 to 3.1.13 -- There is a
known issue with 3.1.12 down to at least 3.1.10 and maybe a bit lower.
Depending on how an applet or application is set up users of jdbc-mysql have
been getting the following runtime exception. Unable to initialize character
set mapping tables. Refer to MySQL Bugs. Bug#14938. According to this page from
Mysql http://dev.mysql.com/doc/refman/4.1/en/cj-news-3-1-13.html They have
fixed the problem as of version 3.1.13. Using the ebuild for 3.1.12 I have
installed 3.1.13 and I no longer get the Unable to initialize Character Set
mapping tables error.

Fixed in CVS. Give it a few hours to hit your local rsync. Thanks for
reporting!
