When emerging x11-drivers/xf86-input-evdev-1.1.2-r1, it errors with:

Ok, I managed to fix this myself, even though I have no experience in .ebuilds whatsoever.

The line:
PATCHES="${FILESDIR}/${PV}-CVS-20060520.patch ${PN}-${PV}-mips-syscalls.patch"

should be changed with:
PATCHES="${FILESDIR}/${PV}-CVS-20060520.patch ${FILESDIR}/${PN}-${PV}-mips-syscalls.patch"
