just before anyone here starts hacking the code on his own for no good reason: i've been working with the author of the library and he fixed that bug. just don't grab the new version (0.48) right away, as the fix may not yet be included.
The above issues have been fixed in dvthread-0.50.
Dear arch-teams, please stabilize this package on your archs since it fixes a test bug (see comment). No packages in portage actually depend on this ebuild. I would therefore suggest a three week time window for the keywording. Thanks!
