log of the failed emerge

------- Comment #2 From Daniel Murray 2006-06-19 06:02:00 0000 -------
I came across this through google:
http://forums.gentoo.org/viewtopic.php?t=463343

It's not in english but easily understood.

------- Comment #3 From Diego E. 'Flameeyes' Pettenò 2006-06-19 06:14:12 0000 -------
Well not much of a problem if it's not in English, it's in Italian so I can
understand it.

The method used is wrong, but now that I know the problem is not isolated (I
can't reproduce) I know how to fix it. Give me some time.

------- Comment #4 From Daniel Murray 2006-06-19 06:34:05 0000 -------
Not saying it doesn't break nothing, since I know nothing about kernel
internals, but it does compile and get me working sound :P.

------- Comment #5 From Diego E. 'Flameeyes' Pettenò 2006-06-19 06:57:40 0000 -------
If you compile the kernel that modified, you're going to be in real trouble.
Please don't submit any bug until you remove the changed sources, and rebuild a
clean kernel.

I've committed the real fix on alsa-driver-1.0.11 (look at ChangeLog after sync
to see if you have the fixed version).
