Description Rick Sheppard 2006-06-08 15:28:41 UTC
Whenever version 1.2.1 became available, I believe sometime last week, I started having lock up problems with xorg. I was able to start X but after a few moments of activity (clicking, starting programs, etc) it would freeze up. mouse unresponsive, keyboard unresponsive (including caps lock, num lock lights) I would have to do a hard reboot to bring it back. I unemerged v1.2.1 and remerged 1.1.1.3 and So far I have no lock up issues. I can only deduce that it is something with v1.2.1.

Here is my emerge --info. I also have my /var/log/Xorg.0.log and /etc/X11/xorg.config upon request, since they are very large.
