Thanks for the patch, I didn't notice this. Did you try on older kernels?
No, but according to the sf.net thread mentioned in bug #135788 the problem was introduced with kernel-2.6.16

My patchs attached. Bye pingus
Pingus, your patches does not apply, and I remember you sent to me quite longer patches originally. At this point, can you try to release a 2.3.3? Mainly because I also know there's a possible security issue with the FFmpeg code I told you about, but I wasn't able to updae the FFmpeg snapshot myself.
don't worry about the longer patch I sent you. This is the same but with more control. This one is enough for the 2.3.2 version. (I don't want to extract all the new code from the next 2.4.0 and put it in a patch). About releasing a new version: I'm thinking about, but as it takes a lot of time .... I'm not ready to do it. what do you want in that new 2.3.3 release? Pingus
the current XdTV 2.4.0 could be find here: http://xawdecode.sourceforge.net/nightly-tarball Pingus
Mainly, I'd like a new version of ffmpeg to go in, so that it gets a bit easier to manage. Unfortunately later I'm quite swamped so I end up forgetting stuff if I don't update my TODO list. I'll see to handle this now.
Thanks, now both patches are applied in the correct ebuilds :)
