app-arch/rpm-4.4.1 is currently -x86, but it compiles and runs for me (after
fixing the missing dependency on net-misc/neon - see #135760).

Unlike earlier versions, rpm-4.4.1 works with python 2.4 (see #108061), which
is required if one is to use yum (#133848) or createrepo (#116913) on an
up-to-date Gentoo system.

Note that yum is needed by app-emulation/domi to build fedora domUs for Xen.
