There is a problem with GNU gv and it's file watch file and reload feature. More detailed information can be found here:

A patch is available, but I don't know when or if this will be included in the next release and when it is planned to take place.

Is this patch something which can be included in the eBuild?

thanks, I added this to portage with -r5
