yakuake is in portage for some time without a version marked stable. There are
no open bugs for this package.
Can someone please mark it stable?

------- Comment #1 From Marcus D. Hanwell 2006-06-02 02:42:11 0000 -------
I have marked it stable on amd64. Arches - could you please consider marking
kde-misc/yakuake-2.7.5 stable. It has no outstanding bugs and is stable here.

------- Comment #2 From Fabian Groffen 2006-06-03 11:06:52 0000 -------
please make sure we have ~ppc-macos keyword before asking us to stable on
ppc-macos.

------- Comment #3 From Marcus D. Hanwell 2006-06-03 11:35:57 0000 -------
Sorry my mistake - it was ppc64 just next to it - doh...

------- Comment #4 From nixnut 2006-06-05 09:24:02 0000 -------
Stable on ppc

------- Comment #5 From Mark Kowarsky 2006-06-16 17:48:27 0000 -------
Built and ran fine on x86.

------- Comment #6 From Marcel de Graaf 2006-06-28 12:15:53 0000 -------
Allright, so, I emerged Yakuake 2.7.5, without any problems.
If I start Yakuake from the Konsole, I get the following message: "Uh oh..
can't write data.."
After that, however, the application starts and can be used as expected.

I'll be using Yakuake the next days, and post a reply here if things go wrong.

My emerge --info:

This is normal when you first start yakuake. I think you have to manually
create the config-file. But I'm not sure, it's some time ago that I installed
it for the first time. I will try to find an answer and post it here. Maybe
someone can insert some advice via einfo into the ebuild, because this problem
is a little bit confusing when you first come across.

------- Comment #10 From Martin Dressler 2006-07-05 07:46:53 0000 -------
Hm, I can't find anything about this message in the help or somewhere else. It
remains also with config present. But I'm running it for months now without
problems, so it should be ignorable.

------- Comment #11 From Christian Faulhammer 2006-07-05 08:06:08 0000 -------
Gentlemen, test your history please. type in some commands, shut down KDE,
restart it and try to access the history. The error message ("Uh oh") seems to
be triggered by Kobsole. There seems to be a patch for Kubuntu to avoid the
problem.

------- Comment #12 From Marcus D. Hanwell 2006-07-05 08:13:13 0000 -------
My history seems to work just fine, although I don't usually start yakuake from
the command line I do get that message when I do. Not sure what impact it
actually has. This doesn't really belong on the stabilisation bug though. I
would inquire upstream, reading the comments I don't see a fix but if you find
one please open a bug and I will test it. I can make a -r1 release if there is
a fix available.
