Quite sure that the dependencies in the ebuild are correct, possible configure.ac problem upstream.
For now I will modify the ebuild to match configure.ac; only audacious-1.1.0_beta2-r1.ebuild has been changed as I expect to revise this later on. Thank you for your bug report, sorry about the build failure. Are you 100% sure that you do not want MP3 support, though?
well... i forgot to enable the mp3 USE flag... :) anyway it is still a bug that should be fixed...
