------- Comment #3 From Tobias Klausmann 2006-05-26 11:25:34 0000 -------
Yup, the patching is out of whack. As I personally don't need the db-entries
for the Diamondmax 10, I've nuked it from the ebuild.

See attached patch. The initial patching is gone and the patching inside
config{} ist commented out with a little info on why I did it.

Quick and dirty fix

------- Comment #5 From Robin Johnson 2006-05-26 13:07:58 0000 -------
sorry about that, it's all fixed now.
The present hddtemp.db that is bundled is fully up to date with the file
provided by upstream, and the maxtor patch is still applied on top of it.

I'm getting this error while trying to update hddtemp database as the ebuild
says:
(I didn't want to open a new bug, because it's very similar to this one)
>>> Regenerating /etc/ld.so.cache...
>>> Original instance of package unmerged safely.
 * In order to update your hddtemp database, run:
 *   ebuild /var/db/pkg/app-admin/hddtemp-0.3_beta15/hddtemp-0.3_beta15.ebuild
config
>>> Regenerating /etc/ld.so.cache...
>>> app-admin/hddtemp-0.3_beta15 merged.
>>> Auto-cleaning packages...

>>> No outdated packages were found on your system.

 * GNU info directory index is up-to-date.
