Description:   Opened: 2006-05-19 09:45 0000
when trying to burn a DVD with growisfs:
growisofs -use-the-force-luke=bufsize:16m -speed=8 -dvd-compat -Z
dev/hda=/somefile.img
Executing 'builtin_dd if=/somefile.img of=/dev/hda obs=32k seek=0'
:-( Failed to change write speed: 5540->11080

but if i remove the -speed=8 option (leve it out)
then it burn, the disk at maximum speed..!?

Opgrading from:
app-cdr/dvd+rw-tools-5.21.4.10.8
to:
app-cdr/dvd+rw-tools-6.1-r1 ~x86
Fixes the problem...

Umh, can we mark something newer stable?

------- Comment #3 From Luis Medinas (RETIRED) 2006-05-20 12:02:25 0000 -------
yes we can i should ask it a few weeks ago... Arch teams please mark stable
dvd+rw-tools-6.1-r1.
As you can see there's a just a small problem with it. Our policy tells us to
mark packages stable after 30 days but the diff between 6.1 and 6.1-r1 is just
a quick fix for cross compile that shouldn't affect the package stability. The
6.x versions are much better than the current stable.
So you can mark it stable as my resposability.

What would you do without your SPARC keyword? :)
