Dear Markus, Please find the attached ebuild for an updated version of the IT++ library (released this afternoon). According to what we discussed some time ago, I added >=sci-libs/acml-2.5.3 to the DEPEND section and it seems to work OK, at least at my x86 architecture. As for the ACML version required (2.5.3), this is not a misspelt. I have checked the ebuild with version 2.5.0, which is stable in portage, and one of the IT++ tests failed. Therefore, I downloaded the 2.5.3 release from AMD pages, and this worked OK. It seems that they fixed something, as compared to 2.5.0 release. The other portage versions of ACML (2.7.0, 3.0.0 and 3.1.0) works OK with IT++. Should we submit a bug-report that there is something wrong with release 2.5.0 and request update to 2.5.3 at least? BR, /ediap
Created an attachment (id=86812) [edit] itpp-3.10.2.ebuild (updated version)
One more thing... If you think, it is worth adding a warning message about the selection of blas libraries that are used by IT++ (as suggested by Jochen here: http://bugs.gentoo.org/show_bug.cgi?id=131890#c6 ), please go ahead. BR, /ediap
Hi Adam, Thank you very much for the update. I'll see that I can get it into the tree soon. Best, Markus
Hi Adam, Sorry for the delay and the itpp-3.10.2.ebuild is in portage now. I think it would be good to file a bug re acml preferably with a test case that reproduces the error to aid in debugging/verifying. Thanks, Markus
