Here's a working ebuild for 2.4.9.5.  (The resulting .so contains a massive
amount of TEXTRELs, though..)

metakit-2.4.9.6.ebuild

Ebuild for metakit 2.4.9.6.  This ebuild fixes the TEXTREL issue by using -fPIC
if not compiling a static library.
