Description:   Opened: 2006-05-14 09:01 0000
The existing versions of <=dev-python/pycrypto-2.0.1-r4 are producing
faulty results for SHA256 sums and several arches have it still in
stable. It's gotten so bad we even now have a direct reference to the
bug which tracks bad sums on the bugzilla intro page. Reference bug 131396

So this is a request for arches to test and fast track
dev-python/pycrypto-2.0.1-r5 on all arches so the old versions can be
completly flushed from the tree.

I'm adding every arch cuz we will need this package in stable before
portage-2.1 can ever make it to stable.

Existing KEYWORDS:

pycrypto-2.0-r1[0]: -amd64 arm hppa sh sparc x86
pycrypto-2.0.1[0]: ~ppc-macos
pycrypto-2.0.1-r1[0]: ~ppc-macos

~ppc64 ~s390 ~sh ~sparc ~x86 ~x86-fbsd

Please test with FEATURES=test USE=test do some repoman scans etc.

The tests are part of the ebuild, just emerge pycrypto with FEATURES=test
USE=test as described in this bug report and it will run the tests
automatically. There is no need to do it now since I just marked it stable (all
tests passed).

I would like to thank you for offering to help test this package. If you are
interested in testing other packages on alpha, we do have an Alpha Arch Tester
project that you might be interested in joining. Details here:
