It didnt work for me, go no sound

Can you try it with the printf line changed to

printf("%s\n", alutGetErrorString(alutGetError()));

got this:

Ops disregard, found the problem already

One program stole my sound device without me noticing
The current code doesnt generate a explicit error message for this case, thats
why i didnt look for it.
Thats something another patch ought to fix :)
