Something like..

Conky uses Double Buffering to prevent flickering, for this you need following line in /etc/X11/xorg.conf, Section "Module".

Load "dbe"

By the way, "dbe" is Double Buffer Extension and Conky and Torsmo uses Double Buffer to prevent this flickering.. not all users have this option in xorg.conf,
I see one or two questions about this monthly.
