I have tested the ebuild and it works for me on amd64, it'd be great to see it keyworded. Thank you.

Avuton, please add "openal" to your USE flags and see if you can get it to link properly against openal (audio library).
Okie, here's a patch to fix that. I'm not quite sure why the maintainer added -lalut when he's already expanding openal-config --libs, so this simply comments it out.

(From update of attachment 86553 [edit]) this patch is bogus, it does not fix the problem, it just makes USE=openal ineffective
~amd64 added. Thanks for report. ps. fakenes build (and work) with and without openal use flag, maybe this has been fixed by the newer openal version.
