Will do a general check + Add information about the Gentoo Council.
fox2mike, good idea, can you add links to the metastructure, the foundation and the council. With a little blurb about each of course. Feel free to rewrite the entire page if you feel up to it. I was going to but just stuck to making it shorter, it was easier. :-)
since the about page has been gutted, there is no mention of Gentoo structure there anymore so nothing needs to be updated
I'm reopening this bug since it *IS* still valid and needs to be fixed. Fox2mike, please rewrite this (and the philosophy page) like we discussed on IRC the other day. If you don't want to do it then say so and I will work on it.
Umm, I'm bringing history back, as well as adding a section on the council and foundation. Gentoo isn't *only* about Portage. And yeah, I'm working on it.

Please split it into two actual commits when doing that, one for formatting and another for content changes :). Aren't "thousands of users" way underestimating?
Reassigning to myself (with foxie's approval) for commit. Shyam, I'm not going deeper into explaining the rest of the projects; if that is deemed necessary we can do that in the future, but I believe that the council explanation is quite important here.
