emerge hardened-sources fails because the man-pages belong to the same ebuild
but another slot. I had that several times, the last time when i had
hardened-sources-2.6.16-r5 installed and wanted to install
hardened-sources-2.6.14-r7. Without FEATURES="collision-protect" everything
works fine, of course. USE-Flags are "doc -build -symlink"

I think this goes back to our idea for a separate linux-doc package which every
kernel with USE=doc depends on... Any volunteers?

I'm working on a seperate package for this.

I've added sys-kernel/linux-docs to portage, the first step of solving this
bug.

Next step is to have it marked stable on the respective archs. When that is
done we can remove the USE=doc code from kernel-2.eclass.

all done

I'd like to have the doc USE-flag back and have all kenels depend on linux-docs
then.
