Description:   Opened: 2006-04-23 10:21 0000
app-forensics/samhain-2.1.1a databasefile-dir missing

after an emerge on a virgen system samhain does not start, because the dir
/var/lib/samhain is missing

* 'samhain -t init' does not create it
* 'init.d/samhain start' does not check if it exists ...

<log sev="ERRO" tstamp="2006-04-23T12:12:50-0500" msg="File not accessible"
userid="0" path="/var/lib/samhain/samhain_file" />

------- Comment #1 From Luca Longinotti 2006-05-24 06:15:20 0000 -------
This was now fixed in the samhain 2.1.3 and 2.2.0 ebuilds, the /var/lib/samhain
directory is created automatically now, if you don't have any of the stealth
stuff enabled (since, if you have, you don't want those files with those names
around).
Best regards, CHTEKK.
