Yeah, it's not been in the tree for exactly one month, but it's been broken for 9 months now with USE=samba (see Bug 102356). That bugs has collected ~20 dupes already and it's really annoying. Also fixes Bug 95863, Bug 110605 and a bunch of segfaults related to the broken samba patch (that has been removed in 4.6.1). Please, stabilize. Assigning to lanius, but don't hold your breath to hear from him, he's been unavailable for quite some time, so I'm CCing arches here.
stable on ppc64
I've done some basic testing with mc-4.6.1 [ -7zip +X +gpm +ncurses +nls +pam -samba +slang +unicode ] on x86. As far as i can tell (note that i'm not a regular user of mc) the app seems to work fine. Reopening as there are still a bunch of arches (alpha, amd64, arm, hppa, ia64, mips, ppc, sparc, s390) who haven't marked mc-4.6.1 stable yet.
sparc stable.
stable on ppc
Seems to work fine on alpha. Stable!
stable on hppa.
The mips team doth annoint this bug with the mips keyword of stability +1.
I bless thou stable on'est this arch of amd64.
s390 and arm done, removing from CC. ia64, please stabilize and close this. Thanks.
ia64 done
