Dear amd64 team, According to user reports and one of the main developers of sci-libs/itpp, the package should compile and work fine on amd64. I was therefore wondering if you could please mark sci-libs/itpp-3.10.1 ~amd64. Thank you very much, Markus
Could you please give us some test data (inputs and outputs) and the proper commandline syntax to test this.
(In reply to comment #1) > Could you please give us some test data (inputs and outputs) and the proper > commandline syntax to test this. Hi! You can test both cblas-reference and itpp libraries by executing a set of tests prepared in IT++. Just emerge blas-reference, lapack-reference, cblas-reference and fftw and then: % USE="blas cblas lapack fftw" ebuild itpp-3.10.1.ebuild test All test should finish with status "PASSED". This means that IT++ can be properly linked and used with blas, cblas, lapack and fftw libraries from Gentoo. If you have more time, you can try to test IT++ linked against blas-atlas and lapack-atlas libraries. BTW, blas-atlas includes C interface to blas (cblas). Hope this helps. /ediap
Hi! IT++ 3.10.2, which is in portage tree for some time, should work fine on amd64 as well, since it is only a minor release (only bug-fixes have been commited, no new functionality added). BR, /ediap
Dear amd64 folks, I've just bumped itpp to version 3.10.3. Would you please be so kind to mark it ~amd64 should it compile and work properly. itpp comes with a set of test routines that can be executed via # USE="blas cblas lapack fftw" ebuild itpp-3.10.3.ebuild test Thank you very much in advance! best, Markus
Dear amd64 team, Has anyone of you spoted this request for keywording? itpp-3.10.3 was yesterday marked stable on x86, so it's the highest time for your move ;-) Thanks! /ediap (one of the IT++ library maintainers and developers)
The sci team has now keyworded itpp-3.10.5 as ~amd64. Thanks, Markus
