Hi, here is an ebuild for the Feb-2006 version of the Open Audio Library.
Judging from the Debian changelog, I think it's a new version with a versioning
change away from dates.

Hrrmn... I'm assuming that this still has alut separate, correct?

Yes. Just to link the bugs together, the latest alut is bug #122965.

Added to portage... thanks for the ebuild and the bug report... now I just get
to go through every single package in the tree that has openal as a dependency
and figure out which ones need to be patched to also link against freealut so I
can unmask this... fun fun...
