The ebuild for the latest vim (6.0-r5) has the python support option commented
out. Not sure if this is intended or not. The Changelog doesn't have a mention
of it. I had no errors building vim with python support.

Fixed in vim-6.0-r6.ebuild and vim-6.1.ebuild.  Sorry for that
mistake, it was leftover from some experimentation on another bug.
