*** Bug 128741 has been marked as a duplicate of this bug. ***
it looks like you also need to add media-plugins/gst-plugins-x-0.10.4 to the list
Also going to need these: media-plugins/gst-plugins-oss-0.10.2 media-plugins/gst-plugins-esd-0.10.2
gst-plugins-xvideo needs to be 0.10.4-r1 too, so I will just put the final list here, in the proper order to make it easy for other arches media-libs/gstreamer-0.10.4 media-plugins/gst-plugins-oss-0.10.2 media-plugins/gst-plugins-esd-0.10.2 media-plugins/gst-plugins-alsa-0.10.4 media-plugins/gst-plugins-xvideo-0.10.4-r1 media-plugins/gst-plugins-x-0.10.4 media-libs/gst-plugins-base-0.10.4-r1 media-plugins/gst-plugins-cdparanoia-0.10.4 media-plugins/gst-plugins-gnomevfs-0.10.4 media-plugins/gst-plugins-libvisual-0.10.4 media-plugins/gst-plugins-ogg-0.10.4 media-plugins/gst-plugins-pango-0.10.4 media-plugins/gst-plugins-theora-0.10.4 media-plugins/gst-plugins-vorbis-0.10.4
stable on amd64.
When will they be marked as stable on x86 arch? Thanks :)
stable on ppc64

sparc done.
ppc stable
I came across something today that I find odd with gstreamer/gst-plugins on my x86 based box. During an "emerge -uDp world" there were some new packages I didn't recognize so I did an "emerge -uDpt world". The packages I didn't recognize appeared under gst-plugins-esd: Calculating world dependencies ..... ...done! I don't have the latest gtreamer or gst-plugins-base? Checked my amd64 box... gstreamer and related plugins were updated on April 5, 2006 just as the changlog and this bug list the date as being marked stable for amd64 in Comment #5. Comment #8 shows x86 marked stable as of April 23, 2006 Questions: 1. Shouldn't gstreamer-0.10.4, gst-plugins-base, etc., be upgraded/added with an emerge world on my x86 box in the same manner as my amd64 box was? Do I need both 0.8.x AND 0.10.x versions or can I safely upgrade to 0.10.x and remove 0.8.x? ia64, you have to mark gst-plugins/base-0.10.4-r1 stable, please.
(In reply to comment #13) > ia64, you have to mark gst-plugins/base-0.10.4-r1 stable, please. ia64 already has 0.10.8 stable (as everyone else), closing this obsolete bug.
