version 2.4.0 is out

------- Comment #1 From Michael Cramer 2006-04-05 07:54:19 0000 -------
please bump, because net-server-0.93 is now in ~x86 and this breaks amavis-new
< 2.4.0 when upgrading net-server

------- Comment #3 From dswhite42@yahoo.com 2006-04-07 11:17:53 0000 -------
A temporary workaround is to downgrade the Perl Net::Server module:

  emerge =dev-perl/net-server-0.90

but of course, the best thing would be to get the new amavisd-new version
released.

This is exactly why I think using --deep during regular world update is a bad
thing - let apps decide when to upgrade their dependencies.

Anyway, I'm working on getting 2.4.0 out already, just give me time.

------- Comment #5 From Andrej Kacian (RETIRED) 2006-04-07 13:28:21 0000 -------
2.4.0 added, thanks for waiting.

The new 2.4.x config file patch changes fewer things from upstream default,
it's all up to the server admin to decide.
