Currently segfaults with modular X, but otherwise it should be fine.

Mind if we wait about 30 days and stabilize on -r2, since that one has modular X fix?

Build fails with -opengl because although --disable-gl disables opengl support when building libraries, it doesn't disable the applications that try to use opengl. The failure happens during src_install() when collects dir is being processed. Everything seems fine after applying the attached patch, which moves aside the gl-dependent stuff to a new dir collects-disabled if ! use opengl.
