Description:   Opened: 2006-03-26 15:02 0000
building gnome-panel with portage >= portage-2.1_pre6-r7 fails due to excessive
QA notices. It appears the scrollkeeper docs are being installed into
/var/tmp/ for some reason and portage flags this as an error. Earlier versions
of portage do not catch this error and the package installs successfully
(though the scrollkeeper stuff is still in the wrong place).

I am sorry. I re-entered this bug (along with a gnome-terminal problem) as
127684. You can go check out my bug entry if you would like to see what I did
to complete the installs. Just remember to "ebuild [package-file] digest"
before trying to emerge again.

best,
adam
