Description:   Opened: 2006-03-16 23:16 0000
1) please add ~amd64 keyword (works well for me)

2) please upgrade to current version (30.9 at the moment) -- the only thing I
do is renaming the ebuild in my portage overlay and it works

3) I suggest to 'chmod g+w /usr/share/games/megamek/logs/' -- do not know if it
is still safe to run multiple instances of the game after that change, but for
the single session usage it is a definitely better set-up ;-)

------- Comment #1 From Tupone Alfredo 2006-03-23 13:45:55 0000 -------
Bumped to 0.30.9, and ~amd64 is in.

So this part is fixed.

To fix appropriately the log file warning, we should actually build from source
and fix the path using the "game" environmental variables.

Actually the installed package is equivalent to a binary package and then
should follow bin package convention.

But, as the sources are available and gentoo is mainly a source based
distribution, building from source is a better solution.

Hope some find the time to do that :/
